It's a 1926's flapper girl. I was experimenting with colors and was going for an "old photo" look, but i didn't like how it turnred out

i like her dress a lot! the detail of the flowers on the hem is adorable. cute shoes too :3. her face has such a great balance of detail and cartoon-y style. her stance though, makes it look like she's about to collapse. if you bring her back foward a bit, and maybe turned her hips towards us, you could still have that "i'm a sassy flapper leaning backwards a little bit" look, but it would be more realistic. as for the "old photo look," maybe if you drew a background, but made it black and white or sepia-toned, with just her colored, you could pull off the "old photo look" but make it a bit more creative. as it is, it just looks dark.

I think that I shall never see
A billboard lovely as a tree.
Indeed, unless the billboards fall
I'll never see a tree at all.

i think its quite good. i actually think that your idea about the old photo look was good, even if it didn't turn out like you planned. live and learn.

When you knew that it was over
Were you suddenly aware
That the autumn leaves were turning
To the colour of her hair?

"Will you walk a little faster?" said a whiting to a snail.
"There's a porpoise close behind us, and he's treading on my tail.
See how eagerly the lobsters and the turtles all advance!
They are waiting on the shingle--will you come and join the dance?"
